Leah Selinger
Leah has over two decades experience as a senior manager and fundraiser in the voluntary sector where she has worked in, and with, organisations helping them become more effective through a combination of support services covering governance, strategy, income generation and implementation.
Her consulting work includes support to a range of local and national charities and social enterprises through project work and interim contracts. Leah also delivers a range of training and workshops on these subjects, and is an experienced and engaging facilitator.
Since March 2012, Leah has worked with a range of organisations. Prior to starting Selinger Consultants, she held the post of Director of Fundraising and New Business at Youth Music, kick-starting their fundraising activity. From 2004 to 2011, Leah worked at Fairbridge, a youth development charity, in a number of roles, finally leaving the charity after three and a half years as Director of Fundraising.
Leah’s main areas of interest lie with organisations working in criminal justice, supporting young people and/or using the arts as a tool for social development.
A strategic thinker, who is practiced at developing and implementing innovative and creative solutions, Leah has a talent of understanding an organisation quickly in order to identify, and address any challenges. Leah has the skills to gain the trust and support of those around her whilst keeping an overview of the big picture, and ensuring that targets, objectives and core needs are met for the organisation.
